Flags of the World: Chile

The Chile flag is simplistic in its design, but it is still striking and eye-catching nonetheless. It is comprised of two uneven horizontal stripes with a small square in the upper right hand corner. The top horizontal stripe is white, which is meant to represent the snow covered Andes Mountains, so it’s fitting that this horizontal stripe is located at the top of the flag.

The bottom stripe is red and represents the blood shed by the heroes of Chile who struggled long and hard for its freedom. The small square in the upper left hand corner is blue and represents the clear blue skies that can be seen above Chile.

Inside that small blue square is a five-pointed star that stands for honor and pride, which are two character traits that the people of Chile take seriously.

You might be able to find a Chile flag somewhere else, but it won’t be made with the same care as our flags. Let us make a custom flag for you that you’ll enjoy for years to come.
